(Yunnan) means south of (or below) the clouds.  (Kunming) is the capital of the southwest Province of Yunnan. Kunming is known as Yunnan’s City of Eternal Spring on account of it gentle weather. Gulls are a popular visit to Haigeng which is the waterway associated with the park. Street vendors sell smelly doufu in the Spring.  (doufu) is internationally translated as tofu in English. It is spoken and written as doufu in China so it is appropriate here to use Pinyin.
